I had my local dog store owner help me, as a new dog owner, pick out the best dog food possible, after telling me alll about how grain free is bad, after about 40 min of walking around going back and fourth reading labels i said just pick me out the best possible dry food, with wet food to mix and than even a additional topper auch as a stella and chewy freeze dried meal mixers or whatever. And i just caved and let her pick just to get home after a couple hundred dollars to realize all the food is grain free anyway and now my dogs sick -_-
For me the problem is not grains in general.. it’s the way we grow our crops with chemicals. I have a sneaking suspicion that has way more to do with kibble being bad than anything. Same for antibiotics in beef and other things we put in cows. What wild dog is eating wheat and rice???
