I’ve found cat’s teeth stay cleaner with hard food/treats so a bit is good. Too much and they get bound up and there’s very little nutrients. Its like McDonald’s for cats.
I also prefer real meats and a side of good quality wet food. I add water to wet food to break down emulsions and the food glue that every company seems to use.
Have given all of our 11 cats kibbles freely with all staying healthy and living into their teens.
Cats are hunters……make them hunt for food.
I dont get why you think dry food is bad, or not worth having in their diet. Especially a well made dry food. Dry food is good for their teeth, jaw muscles, and plaque on their teeth.
Yall that do dry food just switch it up sometimes with a can of wet food like once a week if you can’t afford it everyday.
